span style=”font-size:larger;”>Catholic leaders gathered on the banks of Broken Creek, Nathalia, to launch the Sandhurst Diocese Laudato Si’ Action Plan. Up to 50 parishes in Sandhurst Diocese have signed up to the plan, including Caritas and Catholic Earthcare.
Bishop Shane MacKinlay officially launched the action plan for the Diocese of Sandhurst, attracting leaders from within Caritas and Catholic Earthcare from Victoria and interstate to the banks of Broken Creek, Nathalia on Monday, May 23.
Catholic Earthcare is a movement for environmental sustainability through climate action and support of those who those who have been negatively impacted by the climate emergency.
More than 50 schools and parishes have signed up in the Sandhurst Diocese to be Catholic Earthcare communities.
