Just before Christmas, the birthday of the Lord Jesus Christ, the practice of sending his messages from house to house through hymns (Carol) is celebrated in various parts of the world known as ‘Go Caroling Day’. This tradition has an interesting history as a reaction to the drunken revelry and accompanying (pagan) singing.
