Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour

Maitreya An exhibition of ancient and sacred relics from the historical Buddha Shakyamuni and many other Buddhist masters from Tibet, India and China will be available for viewing at the Seafarers Mission, 717 Flinders St, Docklands, Melbourne, on 27, 28 and 29 March 2015

The Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour seeks to bring the blessings of the Relics and the experience of loving kindness to as many people around the world as possible by creating inspiring events, encouraging respect and genuine openness resulting in widespread happiness and the conditions for world peace.

The relics were found among the cremation ashes of these Buddhist masters. They resemble beautiful, pearl-like crystals that Tibetans call ‘ringsel.’ Buddhists believe relics embody

His Holiness the Dalai Lama has graciously offered to this collection, eight relics of the historical Buddha that are over 2,500 years old. The tour also features relics from forty other Buddhist masters from different parts of the world, in all there are over 1,000 relics in this collection, making it the largest touring relic collection of its kind.

The core message of the Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour is that loving kindness resides in every person’s heart and is the basis for respect, peace and happiness both individually and globally. The Tour evokes a personal experience of that pure quality of loving kindness resulting in happiness and peace.
