At Goulburn Valley Hospital, a new multifaith room takes shape and will shortly be commissioned for use of hospital patients and staff.
Members of the Shepparton Interfaith Network and the Interchurch network have collaborated with the Goulburn Valley Hospital on the design and construction of the new Multifaith Room.
The design was inspired by the Multifaith room at Dandenong Hospital, with the GV Health room being much larger and having an addtional space for private reflection.
Recently retired Chair of the GV Hospital Board, Clem Furphy, discusses the design and utilisation of the room with members of the Interfaith Network and Interchurch group.

An alcove in the room will be a repository of sacred books and texts from different traditions.
