Nobody has to be alone this Christmas

Christmas LunchTHIS Christmas, no one in Shepparton needs to celebrate alone, thanks to the “Christmas for Those Alone Lunch”. The event, scheduled for the 25th of December at the Macintosh Centre Shepparton Showgrounds, aims to provide a warm and joyous Christmas experience for those who might otherwise spend the holiday season in solitude.

The CTFA team recognises the power of community and is reaching out to various local groups to help make this event a success. As per Council requirements, all volunteers will need to attend an induction session before Christmas Day to familiarise themselves with their roles and the expectations of the Christmas for Those Alone Team and the City of Greater Shepparton, who kindly provide the hall and meet insurance requirements each year.

The induction sessions are scheduled for December 22 and 23. Kitchen volunteers are requested to bring their current Food Handlers Certificate for verification. Let’s come together and make this Christmas a memorable one for all.
