In the wake of the tragic car accident in Mansfield where four young Samoan men, working with Flavorite in the PALM Scheme, were killed when the car hit a tree and was burnt out – there will be a Candlelight Prayer Service at the Shepparton Uniting Church on Saturday 25 November from 4PM.

As one of the pastoral responses from the Samoan community in Victoria, there is a special candlelight prayer service being held on this Saturday afternoon 25 November, in the Uniting Church in Shepparton (134-140 Fryers St), starting at 4pm.

Anyone may attend.

Refreshments will be provided after the prayer service.

[NOTE: An official Memorial Service, being planned by the Samoan Government representatives in Australia – High Commissioner and Country Liaison Officers – will be held at a later date, once all the legal clearances are finalised and the grieving families have been consulted as required culturally.]
