Call for Contributions to PhD research:
Reimagining Care: An ethnography of desirable Australian futures

PhD Candidate Kelly Saunders (University of Canberra) is seeking participants to write short Letters from the Future (20 years from now). You are asked to imagine Australian futures in which care is a core human competency and organising principle, unbound by existing infrastructures and norms. Your participation is a way to generate new culture about who cares, where and how we care, moving the present toward hoped-for futures.

With climate breakdown, societies that cannot shift their values and practices toward reparative care, will not thrive. Yet, there is a lack of research about what it might look like. Reforms often focus on workforce productivity and ignore the potential for care to transform societies.

Contributions are anonymous and confidential.
For more info, please contact Kelly Saunders

Contributions close 31 January 2023.
