The City of Greater Shepparton will conduct a community forum addressing community safety at the Senior Citizens Centre, 132 Welsford St, on Thursday 31 March at 1:15pm. This forum is for the community of Greater Shepparton to identify what makes them feel safe and unsafe and how we work together to bring about change.
The forum will be facilitated by Nelly Thomas, comedian , author and facilitator who will lead the community through a range of activities and session to develop focus areas for the Greater Shepparton Empowering Communities project for the next three years.
The Minister for Crime Prevention will present and participate in the forum, together with Greater Shepparton City Council Executive Leadership Team, Councillors and staff.
The forum is hosted in partnership with Greater Shepparton City Council, Greater Shepparton Safe Communities Advisory Committee and the Department of Justice and Community Safety.
This is a free community forum.
