GV Health urges eligible people to make a booking to be vaccinated

“GV Health urges all eligible Victorians to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations. With the current COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria, we know that COVID-19 can spread quickly, and have serious health consequences for members of our community. COVID-19 vaccinations are one of our protection strategies to keep our community safe, and lessen the effects of COVID-19”, said Alicia Cunningham, COVID-19 Response Executive, GV Health.

GV Health continues to manage and meet vaccine demand
“GV Health is meeting daily with the Victorian Department of Health regarding the COVID-19 Vaccination Program and discussing key issues including vaccine supply from the Australian government,” said Matt Sharp, Chief Executive, GV Health.

Mr Sharp also stated that “GV Health is working as effectively as possible within the available constraints of the COVID-19 Vaccination Program, while at the same time endeavouring to meet the needs of the Goulburn Valley community. For example, where circumstances have allowed, we have opened the vaccination hub over the weekend, and the current Tuesday evening late opening is proving popular with our community.”

GV Health keeps its Facebook page updated about the COVID-19 vaccination program. Further information can be found at: https://www.health.gov.au/initiatives-and-programs/covid-19-vaccines
