In 2007, the Shepparton Interfaith Network in conjunction with Latrobe University and the Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District conducted a seminal conference with the title, Cultural Diversity and Social Harmony - The Goulburn Valley Experience at Eastbank Centre, Shepparton.
Conference Overview
This was a two day Conference held at the Eastbank Centre in Welsford St, Shepparton. The conference was sponsored jointly by Latrobe University - Shepparton Campus, the Shepparton Interfaith Network, and the Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District, and the City of Greater Shepparton.
Keynote Speaker, Professor Des Cahill of RMIT University opened the conference with his address on Quality Community Leadership in Multicultural and Multifaith Australia.
