Greater Shepparton City Council proudly presents the overwhelmingly popular local Christmas family tradition, Carols by Candlelight at Queens Gardens on Sunday 22nd of December, 2019, at 6:30pm – to 9:30pm
On December 22, Shepparton’s Queens Gardens will once again come alive with the merry sounds and joyful smiles of Christmas.
The night promises to be spectacular with the return of various local performers and entertainers who will showcase a mix of contemporary and traditional Christmas carols.
The event will finish with a spectacular pyrotechnics display sponsored by Goulburn Murray Credit Union.
Update:
Unfortunately, due to the predicted high temperatures, current dry conditions and close proximity of the fireworks location to bushlands there will not be any fireworks at this year’s Carols by Candlelight.
Council understands the fireworks are a much-loved tradition for the carols event however this decision has been made for the safety of the community and to prevent the spread of bush fires
It is a free community event and everyone is invited to attend this wonderful celebration!
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own rugs, cushions and low lying chairs, along with insect repellent.
There will be food available to purchase at the event, but everyone is welcome to bring a picnic basket along.
Carols by Candlelight is a alcohol free event.
