The Greater Shepparton Women’s Charter Advisory Committee, in partnership with the library, invites you to come along and have a chat about gender rights and related issues.
This session will include viewings of 4 short YouTube videos by Australian Walkley Award nominee Jan Fran on:
– The gender wage gap;
– The #MeToo movement — what next?
– Female inventors;
– Merit-based employment.

Greater Shepparton Women’s Charter Alliance Advisory Committee
The aim of the Greater Shepparton Women’s Charter Alliance Advisory Committee is to support and promote women in leadership roles and all levels of decision-making, including business or workplace positions, community groups or boards of management.
This Committee has been established to promote local women in leadership and in all levels of decision-making in Greater Shepparton. A three point action plan focussing on Diversity, Active Citizenship and Gender Equity guides the key strategic objectives of this Committee.
The Committee is made up of volunteers and is supported by Greater Shepparton City Council.
