Shepparton’s Apology Breakfast 2019

Eleven years ago, on 13 February 2008, Prime Minister Rudd formally apologised to Australia’s Indigenous peoples, particularly those whose lives had been blighted by the practice of forced child removal. Shepparton Regional Reconciliation Group invites you to join in the celebration of the 11th Anniversary of the National Apology on Wednesday, 13 February, 2019 at Queens Gardens, Shepparton at 8am.


The apology breakfast will be held on Wednesday 13 February in Queens Gardens from 8:00 to 8:55am.

This event is hosted by the Shepparton Region Reconciliation Group and supported by Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative, ASHE – Academy of Sport Health and Education, Greater Shepparton City Council, Healing Foundation, Berry Street, Gallery Kaiela, Notre Dame College, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation and Sandhurst Catholic Care.
