Carols by Candlelight for 2016 will be take place on the evening of Sunday 18 December 2016 at 6:30pm in Queens Gardens, Shepparton. This is a free, family-friendly event. Goulburn Murray Credit Union are sponsoring the fireworks display at the conclusion of carols.
Shepparton’s Queens Gardens will once again come alive with the merry sounds and joyful smiles of Christmas. Presented by Greater Shepparton City Council, this beloved family tradition, Carols by Candlelight, has a proud history.
The night promises to be even more spectacular with the return of various local performers and entertainers who will showcase a mix of contemporary and traditional Christmas carols. The evening will conclude around 9.30pm with the GMCU sound and fireworks masterpiece which is sure to delight the whole family! The One FM 98.5 Live Broadcast begins at 6.00pm, hosted by Matt Dowling and Jessie Lee. There will be a barbeque and refreshments stall from 5:30pm.
Candles and glow products will be available for purchase.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own rugs, cushions and chairs and insect repellent.

Reserved accessible seating is available by phoning Riverlinks on (03) 5832 9511 or National Relay Service no: 133677. Council has also engaged Auslan Interpreters who will assist the deaf community by translating carols using Auslan.
In the event of wet weather, the event will be held in the multi-purpose pavilion at the Shepparton Showgrounds.
