Carols by Candlelight will be held at Queens Gardens, Shepparton, on Sunday, 23 December beginning at 6.30pm
Now in it’s 38th year Shepparton’s Carols by Candlelight has become a Christmas tradition for many families. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax with family and friends at a busy time of year.
Presented by Greater Shepparton City Council, the evening will commence at 6:30pm and will feature a children’s program as well as a number of performances by guest artists, local bands and the Turaton Music Company Christmas choir. The evening will culminate with the spectacular GMCU fireworks display at approximately 9:30pm.
People attending are encouraged to bring their own rugs, cushions and chairs.
The local Kiwanis Club will operate a barbeque and refreshments stall from 5:30pm and candles and glow products will be available for purchase.
Reserved accessible seating is available by phoning Riverlinks on 5832 9511. Council has also engaged Auslan Interpreters who will assist the deaf community by translating using sign language.
The ONE FM 98.5 live broadcast will commence at 6.00pm and in the event of wet weather, the event will be held in the Mulit-purpose Pavilion at the Shepparton Showgrounds.
