Emerge on the Goulburn Festival 2012

Emerge on the Goulburn Festival

In collaboration with the Goulburn Valley Regional Library, Shepparton Interfaith Network will facilitate Living Books-Living Voices as part of the Emerge on the Goulburn Festival.

Emerge on the Goulburn is a cultural celebration in and around Shepparton's Eastbank Centre from Friday 20 - Sunday 22 April. The festival will comprise cultural experiences encompassing music, dance, storytelling, visual arts, film, exotic foods, ancient and crafts and ceremonies happening all weekend.

Living Books, Living Voices is an evening of stories from the Shepparton region and around the world. People have narratives of their lives, their experiences in arriving and settling in Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley, and hence, are living books. Humankind are a story-telling people, and all stories enrich our own stories.

Living Books, Living Voices will be facilitated by the Shepparton Interfaith Network at the Shepparton Library, 41 - 42 Marungi St, Shepparton, from 6 - PM on Friday, 20 April, 2012.
