The Friendship café will provide a safe space for young women from different cultural backgrounds, especially new and emerging communities to have a cup of tea or coffee and share a friendly conversation with other women.

This is a new initiative of the Victorian Government’s Department of Justice and Regulation to support locally based partnership projects to encourage young women from newly arrived communities participate in community activities which foster interpersonal and community connectedness and their sense of cultural identity.

Our very first Friendship Café will at the local Police station on Wednesday 23rd of August 2017 at 5.30 pm.

Please feel free to distribute through your networks and encourage young women from multicultural communities aged 13-25 to attend this session.
