It's easy to become overwhelmed by the suffering of the world, to despair that there is little we can do to help. But it's possible to develop the huge compassion of the bodhisattva: the enthusiasm and confidence to never give up working to help others.
Ven. Robina Courtin, Australian-born Buddhist nun with a powerhouse personality, says it took her years to walk the talk of Buddhism. Ven. Robina's previous visit to the Goulburn Valley was in 2003, and will speak at Mooroopna Community Hub on 23 September 2013. Shepparton Interfaith Network is collaborating in this event where Ven. Robina will share about compassion.
