GV Disability Expo – Shepparton Interfaith Network

GV Disability Expo will be hosted by GV FamilyCare at the McIntosh Centre, Shepparton Showgrounds, on Thursday, 10 September from 9:30 - 5PM

Over the next few years, as the National Disability Insurance Scheme becomes a reality, almost 8,000 Goulburn Valley regional residents with disabilities will gain greater control over their lives and the services they choose.

The upcoming FamilyCare Disability Expo offers a crucial opportunity for people with a disability, and those who are aged, their families, carers, supporters, friends, health professionals and the wider community to come and look at the services that are available to the region; including aids, technology, vehicles, equipment, support services, health and wellbeing.

The expo is an opportunity to seek information and advice on disability services offered in the region by over 40 different service providers.

There’s something for everyone at the expo: Over 40 stall holders will attend on the day to talk to the community about the services and products they offer. The event is open to all ages providing information for; people with a disability, their carers and families, and other services providers.
